Today we went to a local park with some friends and had a picnic lunch while sitting in the shade of a tree.
We took along our bat and ball and the sprogs played a small-scale game of rounders together:
It was a rather interesting game as hitting the ball was rather sporadic, and the fielders kept wanting to keep the ball and running off with it, and there seemed to be some confusion as to how many times you had to run round the bases... but all in all, much fun was had!
Unfortunately we did manage to lose the ball, so we'll have to buy another one (or several!).
There was also tree climbing, forest exploring, burying each other in sand, and playing My Little Pony, which is their new favourite thing to watch and play (the Friendship is Magic series is on Netflix and we are slowly working out way through them!). There was only a minor argument about them all wanting to be the same ponies at the same time...
