That would be our bathroom when we moved into this house. Tiled from top to bottom, no storage, complete with some rather questionable boxing around the back of the toilet/end of the bath, and a carpet.
Yes, carpet.
No, I don't know why. But I'm sure it won't surprise you to learn that it absolutely HUMMED when I removed it.
Anyway, to the point. We spent a whole year saving hard, and just before Christmas the funds in our regular saver were released. So, we placed an order, and when it arrived we cleared everything out...
...made a bit of a mess...
...and now it looks a little differently. I'll just post the pictures and you can decide for yourselves whether it's an improvement or not!
Obviously, it's far from finished. There's a wall behind the bath that needs completing, we need to paint and tile, and the floor can't go in until we're sure we're done with the plumbing (need access under the floorboards). But the change is substantial!
