a week of socialising

Seem to have lost the plot a bit with the blogging at the moment. Have completely lost track of what we've done and where we've been, and have a whole bunch of draft posts that I can't finished yet for one reason or another which are clogging up the back end.

This past week we have spent a lot of time with friends and family. Over the weekend my sister came around and stayed overnight which was lovely. Podd was off work on Friday and Monday due to the bank holidays so we spent lots of time together as a family over the weekend as well. We also went to a birthday party on Sunday and had loads of fun there... (including using all the helium filled balloons to try to make Batman fly... we were close but he was just slightly too heavy!)

On Tuesday we visited some home ed friends for lunch and a bit of a play date. On Wednesday we had intended to visit the park with some local school friends but morning sickness caused a cancellation at their end so we went by ourselves. On Thursday we had some friends over during the day who we don't see as often as we would like so that was really nice, and in the evening my mum and sister visited and brought us our new display board for our dining room.

On Friday we went to forest school (and had a really good session), and I asked Little if she would like to write a guest post about what they did and she was very keen on that idea, and it is here.
